AGM
Bathgate Partnership CentreNEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS NEEDED - AGM meeting, Jim Walker Partnership Centre, 7.15pm Thurs 19th September Although we had new members join the committee last year we were all stretched, with some doing multiple roles. To keep this much loved historical community event running for future generations, we are reaching out to the community for more people to get involved. Committee meetings run in the evening, approximately once monthly in the Autumn/Winter months and become more frequent as Procession day approaches. We welcome anyone to join, without more volunteers we can't put on this much loved event. There are many different ‘teams’ within the committee you can be involved in helping: Arch - coordinate activities to decorate and install the arch for Procession Entertainment - including arranging park entertainment and performers Festival Fortnight - coordinating and running the Festival Fortnight events Fundraising - help with ideas and planning for the many fundraising events needed to help fund the procession Media - working across areas such as the Facebook page, Website and Programme creation If you would like to learn more or are interested in joining the committee, please come along to our AGM meeting which will be held at Jim Walker Partnership Centre at 7.15pm on Thursday 19th September. All welcome!
